MEGATRON plans to obtain the TISAX label for its customers in the automotive environment in 2023. For this purpose, Mr. Klaus-Dieter Marwitz passed the certification Information Security Officer for TISAX (TÜV) on 24.11.2022. With this certificate the basis for the definition of an information security management system is created to pass the assessment level 1 and 2 at ENX. The TISAX requirements MAN Truck and Bus and AUDI AG must specify the test scope and the protection requirement for the TISAX label to be obtained. After receiving all information and performing a self-assessment, an AUDIT can be requested from one of the certified auditors, such as TÜV or Dekra.
If there are no major deviations, MEGATRON will receive a TISAX label with a validity of 3 years.
Since 2017, the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) has established a testing and exchange mechanism that serves as a certificate to prove compliance with information security standards. This “Trusted Information Security Assessment EXchange”, or TISAX® for short, refers to a standard established in the automotive industry for information flow. It is used for cross-company recognition of assessments and creates a common testing and exchange mechanism for this purpose.
The results always remain under the control of the companies being assessed.
TISAX® is operated by the legally independent ENX Association based in France, which accredits the testing service providers and monitors the quality of the implementation and the assessment results.
The aim is to protect information security between OEMs and all suppliers and service providers in this area who work with sensitive OEM data.
TISAX® is based on ISO 27001 for ISMS and ISO 27017 for cloud security and has been extended to include the specific requirements of the automotive industry.
