ware DOPIX from the former House ICON from Stuttgart, has discontinued the output management system DOPiX. Quadient informed the existing companies, especially in the insuranc

e industry and in the banking environment, that DOPIX will no longer be further developed as of December 31, 2023. After a storm of indignation and an open letter from 14 insurance executives, the deadline was extended to Dec. 31, 2026. Now existing customers must replace their existing system by that date. The problem is finding a suitable alternative and transferring all existing documents to a new output management system. Quadient hopes that custom

ers will migrate to your second product, Inspire, but there is a lot of uncertainty in the customer environment that you will meet a similar fate with Inspire as you did with DOPIX in a few years.

Many insurance companies and banks use DOPIX mainly for portfolio management, and would like to see an easy migration from DOPIX. But Quadient does not offer a migration procedure to its second product, Inspire. Thus, customers lack a cost-effective alternative for migration.
